For months, the Motorola X Phone has captured much of our attention. However, latest reports tell us that the phone will not deliver ground-breaking features set. It appears, loyal Motorola fans won’t be getting something that blows the Galaxy S4 out of the water. So, don’t expect things like Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and 3GB of RAM.
The phone should be unveiled in May during Google I/O event followed by a July launch. We are also told that the Motorola X will offer a number of customization options. Users will be able to choose between materials used, such as carbon fiber, metal and plastic. Other than internal storage options, users can define the color of the chassis.
Before the phone arrives to their door, users can choose apps, wallpaper and ringtones to be preloaded by Motorola. This capability was previously offered by HTC with their “Get Started” service.
