Samsung May Be Planning to Release the Galaxy Pocket Neo
Samsung doesn’t have only the Galaxy Pocket Plus in stock for ultra low-end category and it’s rumored that another similar handset is being prepared for release. Scheduled to arrive in the market in a couple of months, the Galaxy Pocket Neo offers hardware specs that won’t make any of our jaws drop. On the front side, there’s a 3” QVGA (240 x 320) display and there’s no video call shooter above it.
The 2Mp camera on the back won’t produce awe-inspiring photos, while available wireless connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is also said that the Galaxy Pocket Neo will be 11.8mm thick. There will be a 1200mAh battery under the back cover and it will run Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) out of the box.
Using the GT-S5310 model number, the phone will be available only in silver-colored chassis. Unfortunately, there’s no real evidence to support the rumor and we still can’t be sure whether the Galaxy Pocket Neo actually exists.
