Samsung Quietly Confirms Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini
Samsung has recently published the GT-I9190 in its official website without much fanfare. The model number is also the moniker for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, which is a direct successor to the Galaxy S3 Mini or GT-I8190.
The phone has decent specs for a mid-range device with 4.3” qHD display, Exynos 5120 dual-core processor, 8/16/32GB of internal storage, 2Mp front-facing snapper, 8Mp rear-facing camera and a removable battery. Samsung’s new TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0 interface will be slapped on top of the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
Specs-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is badly under-equipped compared to the full fledged Galaxy S4 handset. Nevertheless, the Galaxy S4 Mini should look remarkably similar to its bigger sibling due to proper combination of outer design and software implementation. Non tech-savvy users will be glad to know that they can have a smaller look-alike of Samsung’s new flagship at much lower price tag. The phone should arrive as late as early June.
