After the release of Samsung Galaxy S4, the South Korean company is on track to delivering a new model of the popular Galaxy Ace family. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is an affordable handset with 4” display, 5Mp rear-facing camera and Jelly Bean (Android 4.2) OS. As a lower mid-range model, it will be priced at around $300 or cheaper. There will be four color options: Wine Red, Pure White, Metallic Blue and Metallic Black.
The phone will be codenamed as GT-S7272 and Samsung may also release a dual-SIM variant. The processor could be a 1.2GHz dual-core model. There will be nothing exceptional with the rest of the specs, as the phone is equipped with only 1,500mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4GB of onboard storage. Another likely feature is the 5Mp rear-facing camera, which could be the same type used by the Galaxy Ace 2.
It is expected that the phone will arrive before Q3 this year. Overall, the Galaxy Ace 3 may show us how the mobile industry has progressed thus. Features that we called as high-end a couple of years ago are now used by a budget mid-ranger.
