HTC will release two new mid-rangers this year, the Desire P and Desire Q. The former is a larger model with 4.3” display and expected to arrive in Taiwan first. It will have WVGA resolution, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8Mp rear-facing camera.
The phone will also arrive with a front-facing shooter of an unknown sensor size, but 1.3Mp seems to be reasonable for this kind phone. The amount of internal storage isn’t disclosed, but the Desire P also includes a microSD card slot. At only $365, the phone is yours in just one year, if you save $1 each day.
The Desire Q is said to see the light of the day first in China as it’s optimized for the China Mobile. It will have features similar to the Desire P, except for the smaller display at only 4”. However, other sources said that it will have features of the Desire U, which put it in the budget category. The phone will be available for $235 off-contract.
