Previously known as the TaoShan, the Sony Xperia L will be one of this year’s new mid-ranger. Sporting the 4.3” (480 x 854) FWVGA display, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor and Adreno 305 GPU; the Xperia L fits the lower mid-range category. On the back, the 8Mp camera is equipped with Exmor RS sensor for better performance in low-light condition. The 8GB of internal storage is expandable via a microSD card slot; while the 1,700mAh battery is suitable for one day of usage.
Arriving with Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.2) on board and measuring 9.7mm thick, the Sony Xperia L comes with a rather standard specs sheet. The phone also looks like a slight improvement over the Xperia J. Unfortunately; the Xperia L may not have the design flare to compete with tons of other smartphones out there. At the time being there are no details about its release date and final pricing.
