MetroPCS is known for its affordable Android lineup and the upcoming ZTE Avid 4G will be known as a cheaper alternative to carrier’s other devices. The budget device will feature a 1.2GHz dual-core processor of an unspecified model, 4” WVGA display and Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).
Additionally, the Avid 4G will feature a VGA camera on the front and a 5Mp primary camera on the back. Users can enable the mobile hotspot feature after paying a few more dollars a month to share the fast 4G LTE connectivity to other numerous devices. The ZTE Avid 4G will be sold without any contract attached for a reasonable price tag of $149 plus tax.
The ZTE Avid 4G supports MetroPCS’ proprietary feature including the joyn™, which offers the ability to share content intuitively in a unified way through numerous enriched services such as video calling, WiFi, chat and instant messaging. The official app for joyn can be downloaded through Google Play.
