Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3
Samsung has announced the Galaxy Mega 6.3 recently and the phone has recently made an appearance at the FCC. This particular model seems to come with AT&T+ bands. As indicated by its GT-I9200 model number, the phone supports only HSPA+ connection. It should be noted that the Galaxy Mega 6.3 isn’t a high-end device; since it is intended to unify smartphone and tablet.
Other than the 6.3” 720p display, the phone also packs 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GHz of RAM, 8/16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 1.9Mp front-facing camera and 8Mp rear-facing camera. Available connectivity options include NFC, IR, GPS, LTE, HSPA+ and WiFi. There will be TouchWiz UI placed on top Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
In its recent press release, Samsung said that the Galaxy Mega 6.3 will arrive in Europe, but there’s no mention about how the phone will be sold in the US. The handset spotted at the FCC seems to be specific only for AT&T, so it’s not certain whether the phone will also be available for other carriers.
