Sony Xperia Z Will be Released on January 15th

Recent reports tell us that Sony may beat out Samsung and Apple in introducing a 2013 high-end smartphone model. The Sony Yuga or officially called as Sony Xperia Z, will arrive on January 15th. This is would be only a week after CES 2013 is opened in Las Vegas. The Sony Xperia Z follows the overall design of HTC Butterfly/Droid DNA with a 5” 1080p display, delivering an impressive pixel density value of 441ppi.

Other features include 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 13Mp rear camera and microSD card slot. The phone will also have Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box as well as LTE support. By releasing the Xperia Z in January 15th, Sony has an early opportunity to steal consumers from Samsung and Apple. Lately, Sony hasn’t been too successful in selling high-end smartphones and the Xperia Z could bring a new change to the company.
