Prism II Will Arrive to T-Mobile
The Prism II is a budget Android smartphone and it’s a direct successor to the original Prism, which was launched in Q2 2012. Like the predecessor, the Prism II is not something that can make your heart flutter; despite the highly attractive price tag. The off-contract, full retail price of the Prism II is just $249 and it’s currently free on a 2-year contract agreement.
Still, it’s a great improvement over the original, with 1GHz single-core processor, instead of 600MHz and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), instead of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The processor should be enough for handling typical daily tasks.
There’s no confirmation from T-Mobile about the rest of the hardware specs, but @evleaks said that it will have the same 3.5” display. We shouldn’t expect to get LTE connectivity with such a low price tag. There’s no exact information release dates, but we should see it released in coming months.
