Recently, Nokia unveiled a new entry-level smartphone, the Lumia 620. It is offered as a cheaper alternative to the more expensive counterparts which experience decent sales worldwide. The Lumia 620 may not deliver advanced features set found on higher-end models, but the Windows Phone 8 OS will appeal those looking for phones with a very new software platform.
The Nokia Lumia 620 comes with a 3.8” display with ClearBlack technology, 1GHz single-core processor, 8GB of onboard storage and 5Mp rear camera. Coupled with an attractive price tag, it’s clear to see that we already have a winner in the entry-level segment. Like earlier Nokia phones, the Lumia 602 will also support interchangeable covers.
The feature should appeal younger consumers that are also more sensitive to pricing differences. The phone is definitely an attractive alternative to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5. It should be available in the UK for about £175 off-contract or lower if you are willing to pay monthly charges.
