The Nokia 520 and 720 were spotted for the first time in Indonesia as they were being certified by a government agency. This allows us to get the scoop on the hardware specs. As direct upgrades from the Lumia 510 and 710, both phones will be equipped with the Windows Phone 8 OS.
This would solidly expand Nokia’s portfolio into the entry-level territory. The Lumia 520 is codenamed the Fame and it will feature a 4” Super Sensitive display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor. 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 5Mp of rear-facing camera, microSD card slot and Windows Phone 8 OS.
The Lumia 720 “Zeal” will come with a slightly larger 4.3” display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, HSPA+ connectivity, 6Mp rear-facing camera, 2Mp front-facing camera, microSD card slot and Windows Phone 8. Nokia is getting ready to introduce new devices at the MWC 2013 and if recent rumors are to be believed, we would be able to get a glimpse of Lumia 1000 with its 41Mp camera.
