Previously, we heard limited details about Sony’s upcoming smartphone model, the Xperia C670X, which is rumored to arrive this summer. Recently, we were notified that the device would be rather impressive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and 4.8” full HD display.

C660X is the model number of Xperia Z and we can assume that the Xperia C670X will share some design characteristics. On the inside, the phone will be noticeably more muscular with 1.8GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 320 GPU. It is also said to arrive with 13Mp EXMPR RS rear-facing camera, 32GB of onboard storage and 2GB of RAM.

The Xperia Blog has also published a smartphone render and there’s no confirmation, whether it is the C670X or just a harmless placeholder image. It I fully expected that the Xperia C670X will come preinstalled with Jelly Bean (Android 4.2) in summer 2013. As always, early rumors of upcoming smartphones should be treated with a pinch of healthy skepticism.
