Lenovo S920 is Officially Announced for Release in China
Phone makers in China are known for their affordable, high-performance devices and the Lenovo S920 is one of them. An image leaked a couple of weeks ago was a feast on our eyes as it showed the S920 with its nice design. The phone looks attractive for budget-conscious consumers with its 1.2GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 5.3” 720p display and thin bezel design. Lenovo decided to opt for 1GB of RAM, which places the phone in the mid-range category.
The 2,250mAh battery is adequate for powering the large-sized display and the 16GB of internal storage is paired with the microSD card slot to allow users expand the total storage amount. The smartphone has front- and rear-facing cameras of 2Mp and 8Mp respectively. We should also give kudos to the phone maker as it goes straight for the Android 4.2, instead of older software versions. The phone will be launched on April 8th in China for about $350. This isn’t bad considering that the phone it is sold at off-contract price.
