Many experts and analysts have predicted that Apple will release the iPhone 5S and a cheaper iPhone model in summer this year. The Apple iPhone 5S will feel and look like the current iPhone 5 but it will have dual-LED flash for more powerful photography solutions and be based on the more powerful A7 processor. Apple acquired AuthenTec last year and as the result, we may see fingerprint security implementations in these new phones. With plastic and fiberglass chassis, the cheaper iPhone model will add some heft to the standard design.
Instead of slapping Qualcomm’s new RF360 chip that supports all frequency bands under the sun, Apple will still be delivering different versions for specific carriers. Apple will still be rolling out new iOS updates in months preceding the months before the global launch of iPhone 5S. The current iPhone 5 is equipped with a 4″ (1136 x 640) display and it’s rather unlikely that Apple will introduce a bigger display version in iPhone 5S.
