HTC Will Release More Affordable M4 and G2 Smartphones
Many expect that HTC’s M7 will make quite a splash when it’s debuted in two weeks. Apparently, the Taiwanese company still has a couple of devices in its disposal, the HTC G2 and M4. These more affordable handsets may not be officially unveiled along with the M7, but it should parts of HTC’s new lineup in spring 2013. The existence of these two devices was leaked by EVleaks through a Twitter account. It’s also the same source that gave us first and earliest rumor on the HTC M7.
HTC M4 is a mid-range device and will be equipped with 4.3” 720p display 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Sense 5.0 UI on top of Android 4.2, 2GB of RAM, 13Mp rear-facing camera, 1Mp front-facing camera, 16GB of onboard storage, 4G LTE support. The HTC G2 looks like a typical low-end handset with 3.5” HVGA display, 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 5Mp rear-facing camera and 4GB of onboard storage.
