HTC Will Officially Unveil the M7 at CES 2013

Plenty of rumors and reports about the HTC M7 have been floating around and the Taiwanese phone maker will soon offer everyone the opportunity to see a different high-end device. The M7 will be showcased at CES 2013 and the company is also getting ready for an official launch.

Reliable sources said that the phone is aimed to take on Samsung’s Galaxy S4, which is also due to arrive in coming months. The release of Galaxy S4 hasn’t been in stone and it is likely to be launched in a separate event.

HTC’s recent strategy seems to be focused on attempts to get head starts on the competitors by launching devices with improved components. It launched the first commercially-available 5” 1080p device, the J Butterfly, in Japan, followed by a US-variant the DROID DNA.

Reportedly, the M7 will arrive with a more humble 4.7” 1080p full HD display, which delivers even higher pixel density at 468ppi. There will be a fast quad-core 1.7GHz processor under the hood along with Android Jelly Bean OS and 13Mp rear-facing camera.
