HTC recently unveiled the Desire U, a mid-range model to be released in Taiwan soon. The phone has proper price for its middling specs, other interesting design features are circles around the camera and rounded edges. Features and specs of HTC Desire U include 4” WVGA LCD display, 1GHz single-core processor, 4GB of onboard storage, 512MB of RAM and microSD card slot. There is no camera at the front, but the Desire U offers a 5Mp snapper on the back. The phone has a 1500mAh battery under the back cover and Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) OS.
There’s a possibility that Desire U will also hit both the United States and European countries, but there’s no word from HTC about on pricing. However, unless the phone comes with exceptionally low price tag, there’s no reason for uss to purchase it. The Samsung ATIV Odyssey has roughly similar features set and Verizon sells it for $49.999 with a new 2-year contract agreement.
