The HTC 603e made an appearance recently on a Chinese certification agency for telecommunication equipments. The smartphone features a 4.3” WVGA LCD display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5Mp rear-facing camera, 1GB of RAM and Android OS. In a nutshell, it’s quite possible that the HTC 603e is actually a variant of HTC One SV, although some differences clearly set both phones apart.
Tipping the scales at 130gr and measuring 9.8mm at its thickest, the HTC 603e is noticeably heavier and thicker than the One SV. The 2Mp front-facing camera on the HTC 603e is a slight improvement over the 1.6Mp shooter used by the One V. Others also speculate that the HTC 603e is actually a variant of the M4 for Chinese consumers.
We still can’t be sure about these rumors and we should hear some more during HTC’s press event on February 19. As of today, there’s no pricing and availability information on the HTC 603e.
