Pantech is a popular manufacturer of budget-friendly devices and it also takes the opportunity in CES 2013 to unveil the Discover. The phone will have a 4.8” 720p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5GHz, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 16GB of onboard storage and 12.6Mp rear-facing camera. The Discover offers respectable connectivity options, including 4G LTE, HSPA+, microSD card slot and NFC.
In keeping with tradition, users won’t need to break the bank to get the Discover as it will be available for only $50 with 2-year contract agreement from AT&T. The phone will also feature the Easy Experience mode, which offers robust multimedia platform. The dual 3D surround speakers bring rich audio experience, which is ideal for watching movies and listening to music.
AT&T’s DriveMode helps curb texting during driving by automatically sends customized replied to incoming messages once the car starts moving. The feature also automatically diverts incoming calls to voicemail.
